Hailing from Singapore, Aeona is an indie-pop singer-songwriter and green enthusiast who wears her quirky multifaceted personality with pride. From singing to plants in the farm for her TikTok series ‘Farm stuff’ to writing cathartic music about the adversities and heartbreaks people face growing up in a world bound by prejudice, judgment and constant conflicts, Aeona is known as the 'Plant Girl Turned Musician'.

 

Inspired by artists like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, Aeona tells her stories through songs and is determined to keep finding ways to inspire understanding and growth in others and herself. Her ultimate goal is to raise social consciousness and empower listeners to break free from societal constraints by nurturing an environment that welcomes love, understanding, communication and growth together as one.

 

Aeona's music often utilises soundscapes from synth pads, pianos and acoustic guitars, that give rise to a cathartic work of art when accompanied with her knack for writing heartfelt lyrics that convey the bittersweet truth and sentiments of growing up. She does not shy away from stigmatised topics, like mental health, and instead advocates it in many of her songs to encourage people to be more open about their struggles.
